Happy birthday to Darling star Prabhas: 5 upcoming films of the rebel star to watch

Hyderabad: Today, October 23, pan-India superstar Prabhas’s birthday. The Darling actor turned 45 today. The rebel star is often referred to as “Darling” due to the title of his superhit movie “Darling”, which has become an integral part of his public persona.

Prabhas began his career like every other star kid not knowing where he will see himself in future. He made his grand entry in the cinema industry in the film Eeshwar, but unfortunately the film did not bring him the commercial success as he expected . His second film, Raghavendra was also got flopped. In 2005, the S.S. Rajamouli directed Chatrapathi made him a star icon overnight. That film was a game changer for his career. He hasn’t looked back since than. Prabhas gave his audience many blockbuster movies like Baahubali, Baahubali 2, Varsham, Chatrapathi, Billa, Darling, Mr. Perfect, Mirchi, Saaho, Radhe Shyam etc.

Salaar: Part 2

Part one of the Salaar movie was a biggest hit. The film was the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2023. It was also the fifth highest-grossing Telugu film of all time. Director Prashanth Neel is planning to make the second part of the movie Salaar: Part 1, Ceasefire. The title of the second part is named as, ‘Shouryanga Parvam’. As per sources, the film have been planned to release on Christmas 2025. The movie will be released in Telugu initially.

The movie Spirit is all set to release on November 30, 2024. The film’s director Sandeep Readdy Vanga and Darling Prabhas will collaborate for the first time. The film is expected to be a dark and gripping drama with powerful narrative and striking visuals like Vanga’s previously directed movie, Kabir singh and Animal. The story and plot of the movie have been kept very secretly. Fans may see Prabhas in a never-seen-before character. As per rumors, it is belived that Prabhas is playing the role of a cop. The film is going to be released in multiple language as Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean.

The Raja Saab

The film, The Raja Saab is set for pan India release on April 10, 2025. Actor Prabhas is going to be seen in the main lead along with actor Sanjay Dutt, Nidhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan. Director  Maruthi-directed this film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada language. The film is based on the ancestral property drama. Actress Raashii Khanna and Sreeleela were the first choice of the film before it went to the actress Nidhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan.

Fauji

From the name itself it is clear that Prabhas is going to play the role of a soldier in this movie. The film is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2025. Hanu Raghavapudi will direct the patriotic action movie. The story revolves around a military officer ( will be portrayed by Prabhas) who comes from a culture where battle was the only way to fight against injustice. As per sources, Prabhas has begun working for the film. Imanvi, a Los Angeles-based dancer is going to play the lead female role opposite Prabhas.

Kannappa

Fans will see Prabhas as a devoted follower of Lord Shiva in the upcoming mythical story Kannappa. The film has been decided to be released in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English language for now. The film is being directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu. Prabhas is playing an extended cameo role in this film. Budget of the film has been set from Rs. 100 crore- Rs. 200 crore. The film is going to be another best film of Darling Prabhas with it’s with its stunning visuals, engaging storyline, and mythological themes.
