Vijay Sethupathi brought his A-game to hosting Bigg Boss Tamil 8 as he accused the contestants of being diplomatic on the show. Dharsha Gupta became the fourth contestant to be eliminated from the show. On Saturday (October 27), highlights from the Friday (October 25) episode were played.

Vijay Sethupathi lauded RJ Anandhi and Muthukumaran for asking the right questions to Sivakarthikeyan, who visited the house for the promotions of his upcoming film, Amaran.

VIJAY SETHUPATHI CALLS OUT MUTHUKUMARAN FOR HIS STRATEGY

Last week, the contestants were asked to play the Killer Coin task. It was a one-sided game, as the men in the house used their physical strength to win the game. Though the women felt that it was unfair, the men hardly realised, despite hints from Bigg Boss.

When Vijay Sethupathi addressed the strategy followed in the task, the women said it was unfair. The host then spoke to the men to understand their strategy and why they refused to change it even after Bigg Boss's repeated requests to make the game interesting.

The interaction proved that Muthukumaran was the mastermind behind the strategy and he understood that he went wrong. Vijay Sethupathi asked them to rethink and applauded the women in the house for not giving up.

SOUNDARYA SAYS GROUPISM EXISTS AMONG GIRLS

Soundarya is slowly opening up on the show, and she was saved this week as well. While interacting with Vijay Sethupathi, she said that groupism exists in the house and six of the women are part of it.

When Vijay Sethupathi cross-questioned them, everyone said that they were fair. He also spoke to Soundarya, who said that this was a problem in the first two weeks but not in the third week. Soundarya's accusations did not sit well with the women.

After Sethupathi called for a break, it stirred a conversation among the women about groupism on the show.

DHARSHA GUPTA ELIMINATED FROM THE SHOW

Then, Vijay Sethupathi gave a task to the contestants, which was in sync with the hotel task they played during the weekdays. Last week, the Bigg Boss house became Bigg Boss hotel and the men and women took turns running the hotel. During the Sunday episode, he asked the contestants to handover three tags - Manager, Consumer, Service - to fellow housemates.

Muthukumaran, Arun, Sunita, Jacqueline, and Anshida received the maximum number of tags.

Then, Vijay Sethupathi announced the people who were saved this week. He announced Dharsha Gupta had been eliminated from the show. Sachana broke down and claimed that the women refused to give the nomination-free pass to her last week.

Dharsha Gupta met Vijay Sethupathi on stage and took a dig at the six women who call the shots inside the home.
