Kannada superstar Yash has officially confirmed that the release of his highly anticipated film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale, has been delayed. The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is a touted gangster drama and was originally scheduled for release on April 10, 2025.

Yash explained to The Hollywood Reporter that the original announcement of the film’s release date was premature. He said, "We had to start a little early, but something went wrong. We had some date issues, so it took more time than expected. I won’t be able to come out with the film on that date."

Yash noted that coordinating the schedules of actors from various film industries had been a significant obstacle for the production. He added that 'bringing everyone together for this film has been particularly challenging' due to its large and busy ensemble cast, which presents unique hurdles.

Yash announced the start of filming for Toxic on August 8, sharing a picture on his official X account. "The journey begins," he wrote.
