Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 box office Day 3: Kartik Aaryan's film enters Rs 100-crore club

Kartik Aaryan's latest release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 achieved a new feat after it entered the Rs 100-crore club in its opening weekend. The film released alongside Singham Again on November 1 in theatres.

Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has made box office history after entering the Rs 100-crore club in its opening weekend. What makes hitting this milestone even more impressive is that the film managed to hit the mark despite facing strong competition with Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again in theatres on Diwali.

As per early estimates, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 earned Rs 33.5 crore on the third day, bringing the total tally to Rs 106 crore. Released over the extended Diwali weekend, the film by Anees Bazmee surpassed expectations, setting a new record for Kartik.

The film opened strong, earning Rs 35.5 crore on Friday and a small rise on Saturday with Rs 37 crore. Despite a slight 10 per cent-15 per cent dip, Sunday added an estimated Rs 33.5 crore, bringing the film’s three-day net total to an impressive Rs 106 crore.

The film now ranks third among Kartik Aaryan’s highest-grossing movies, trailing only Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which made around Rs 108.95 crore, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, leading the list with a collection of Rs 184.32 crore.

Monday's collections will be crucial in determining the film's overall box office success. It has a two-week window to maximize earnings before it encounters fresh competition from upcoming Hollywood releases Wicked and Gladiator 2, set to debut later this month.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also features Triptii Dimri and Rajpal Yadav, apart from Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. It is directed by Anees Bazmee.
