Actor Kichcha Sudeep's mother died on Sunday, October 20 in Bangalore. Later, his daughter, Sanvi Sudeep, shared an emotional note about losing her grandmother and also slammed those who didn't let the family give her the "send-off" she deserved. In her note on Instagram, Sanvi mentioned people "stuffing" cameras in her face, and trying to make a reel while the family was busy paying their last respects to a beloved member.

She first shared a photo with her grandmother, Saroja Sanjeev, and wrote, "I will love you always and forever (sic)," and then shared a written note on Instagram stories. She mentioned how losing her grandmother wasn't the worst part of the day, it was the people who didn't treat the family respectfully while they were grieving.

Her note read, "Today was a very difficult day for my family, but losing my grandmother wasn't the worst part. The people who assembled outside my house, cheering loudly, stuffing cameras into my face as I try to grieve. I don't know how much more inhumane one can be. When my father was crying for his mother, people were pushing and pulling and we had so much trouble giving her the send-off she deserved. I'm crying about losing a loved one and all these people cared about was the kind of reel they could post (sic)."
