Hollywood actor Tom Hardy, known for his captivating portrayal of Venom, recently shared his thoughts on Bollywood and his experiences in an exclusive interview with India Today Digital. The 47-year-old actor said though he is aware of Bollywood films, he needs to watch more of them.

During the chat, Hardy revealed his admiration for Bollywood films, mentioning he has watched the Indian remake of Warrior, titled Brothers, featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Akshay Kumar.

He expressed his interest, saying, “Do you know what? I have watched the Indian version of Warrior, which I thought was cool. A long time ago, I was asked to do a film called Bollywood Queen (2002), which is a film that James McAvoy did. So I am very much aware of Bollywood and Indian movies. But I need to watch much more of it. It's huge. You guys have some massive stars there.”

Hardy also expressed his desire to visit India someday, stating, “Absolutely. I'd love that. And then you can tell me, show me what I need to watch and who's who and everything.”

The actor reflected on the conclusion of the Venom franchise: “There's a part of me that's like, 'Well, yeah, we’ll be back to work tomorrow morning,' but we won't. That office is empty, so that hasn't hit yet. But the opportunity to have been part of something and come in as relatively small cogs in the wheel... it’s been a university in filmmaking for the two of us,” he shared, referring to his collaboration with writer and producer Kelly Marcel.

He expressed heartfelt appreciation for the growth he’s experienced through the franchise, stating, “I have to thank Venom for that opportunity and Sony for grooming us, for growing us in a good way, in the appropriate manner to develop us as professionals and as artists. So, yeah, it’s a bittersweet thing.”

Venom: The Last Dance is set to hit theaters on October 24.
