Actor Kartik Aaryan's much-anticipated film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to hit theatres on November 1. It is expected to face stiff competition from Rohit Shetty's action-packed Singham Again, but the actor remains optimistic about both films finding success at the box office.

In an exclusive interview with India Today Digital, Kartik shared his thoughts on the upcoming clash. “I think it’s fortunately such a big date that not just two films, but more films can release during Diwali. So, I feel that it’s a bonanza for the audience,” he explained.

He emphasised that having multiple films to choose from provides a variety of genres for viewers. “There might be some issues, but neither of our teams is getting attached to those things. We’re just focusing on our film and wishing that both films do wonders at the box office,” Kartik said.

When asked about a potential crossover for his character Rooh Baba, Kartik humorously suggested that Singham Again would be the perfect fit, saying, “I think Stree already has a lot of Rooh Baba. He can be with the cops too!”

In the interview, Kartik also opened up about his approach to securing roles in the industry. “No, not really,” he replied when asked if he aggressively pursues directors or producers for work.

“Sometimes, when I know the person, that’s a different thing. I can joke around or say something, but when I don’t know someone, it gets awkward for me.” Kartik acknowledged that while some actors are comfortable auditioning or directly messaging for roles, he prefers to focus on delivering his best work rather than navigating the complexities of securing opportunities.

"A lot of actors are okay with that. They like to audition. There's nothing wrong with it. If you want to reach out to someone and ask for work, that's perfectly fine. Personally, I feel awkward doing that; it's just part of my personality. It's not about right or wrong—it's simply how I am. I want to ensure that when I take on a role, I can give it my 200%. Navigating how to get a film isn’t something I can maneuver," Kartik concluded.

Besides Kartik, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is headlined by Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit.
