Maheep Kapoor reveals Shanaya Kapoor 'traumatised' when her big bollywood debut film was shelved

Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor was all set to make her big Bollywood debut with the movie Bedhadak. She was going to star alongside Lakshya in the film, which Karan Johar's Dharma production was going to produce. However, a few months later, the movie got shelved. Shanaya has no Hindi project in her hands currently.

The new season of Bollywood Wives Vs Fabulous Lives is now out on Netflix. In one of the episodes, Maheep Kapoor opens up on how her daughter was heartbroken when her debut film got shelved. Maheep tells Karan Johar that Shanaya Kapoor was traumatised when her father didn't start. "You had to intervene," Maheep tells Karan.

Further in this entertainment news, the Bollywood Wives vs Fabulous Lives star also reveals how the pandemic was a mess for her as she was also diagnosed with diabetes. Kapoor stated that she was going through her own madness. "I had exposed myself to my old parents and Shanaya (after contracting COVID-19). We all fell like nine pins. Understand the trauma that I was going through after Rekha (Maheep’s house help) had passed away when doctors were saying that my old mother needs to go into the hospital," Kapoor shared.

Maheep made these revelations at Seema Sajdeh's house, where Karan Johar brought the ladies together to clear their misunderstandings. Seema said that she didn't want Maheep to be there for her. Seema wanted to be there for Maheep, but she didn't allow it.

Meanwhile, Shanaya Kapoor is now part of the Student of the Year 3 web series, which is being headed by Reema Maya. The actress will make her acting debut in the movie Vrushabha. It's a Telugu-Malayalam film, which stars Mohanlal in the lead role. About her debut film, Shanaya said in the episode, "I am grateful for Pablo (her pet dog). It is a fact. And I am looking forward to start a shoot again."
