Through her post, fans are suspecting that Nitin Chauhaan died by suicide as she wrote, "Rest in peace my dear…really shocked and sad.. wish u had the strength to face all the troubles…wish u were mentally strong like ur body." However, the details of the cause of his death are still awaited. On social media, many of his friends and fans are mourning the loss.

Nitin Chauhaan became famous by winning reality show Dadagiri season 2. Then he participated in MTV Splitsvilla season five. He was one of the most popular contestants on the show. He was then part of TV shows like Zindagi Dot Com and Friends: Conditions apply. In 2015, he came onboard Crime Patrol. He was also a par of Gumrah: End of Innocence. His last stint was on Savdhaan India in 2016. He was a famous actor and enjoyed a good fan following too.
