Shah Rukh Khan has played many iconic roles in many iconic movies. One such iconic movie is Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Directed by Karan Johar, the movie starred biggest names from the industry. Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta and Amitabh Bachchan played pivotal roles in this multi-starrer. The movie was a massive hit at the box office with its music too grabbing it attention. Years after its release, a Pakistani actor has now claimed that Shah Rukh Khan copied his role in the film.

Veteran Pakistani actor Tauqeer Nasir in his latest interview has made big claims about Shah Rukh Khan's character in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. With YouTube channel Zabardast With Wasi Shah, Tauqeer Nasir stated that Shah Rukh Khan copied his character from Parwaaz serial and he appreciates it. However, the actor stated that he should have received due credit for it. She added that it should have been director Karan Johar who should have taken efforts to give credit. Drawing similarities between two characters, the Pakistani actor shared how Shah Rukh Khan's character in Kabhi Alivada Naa Kehna limps a little bit and how the characters were complex. He was quoted saying by entertainment news channel, "He also a limp on his feet just like mine. The role was complex where he had to chose between two extremes. One where he likes someone and the other where is liked. KANK glamourised the same concept but the point is the same. They should have acknowledged that." All the characters in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehnaa were about the complex relationships.
