TMKOC’s Palak Sindhwani accuses makers of mental harassment and mistreatment

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah makers accused Palak Sindhwani of breach of contract. The actress has now reacted to these allegations and has decided to take legal advise.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is in the news. The comedy TV show is the longest running serial and has a huge fan following. However, the show has been through many controversies. We have seen Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal aka Mrs Roshan Sodhi accuse the makers of sexual harassment. She also revealed they did not pay her the money. Post that Priya Ahuja Rajda also left the show and accused the makers of disrespectful behaviour. Monika Bhadoriya also supported Jennifer and Priya. We also saw Shailesh Lodha and Neha Mehta leaving the show. Shailesh also accused the makers of not giving him his payments. The legal case also went on between them. Now, there is another controversy around the show.

TMKOC producers to take legal action against Palak

Neela Film Productions shared an official statement about Palak Sindhwani aka Sonu. They have issued a formal legal notice through Anand and Naik to Palak Sindhwani for breach of contract. The notice outlines violations of several key provisions in her exclusive artist agreement, which have caused significant harm to the character, the show and the production company.

It says that Palak didn't take the necessary written consent, as required by her contract before taking up unauthorized third-party endorsements. She continued this despite multiple verbal and written warnings. They have revealed that in response to the legal notice, Palak has responded with the intent of quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Now, the production house wants to take this seriously and seek compensation for damages caused to them and the show. Palak has now reacted to the entire matter. She spoke to Bombay Times and she has denied these allegations by the makers. This is a big story in Entertainment News.

She shared that she had informed the production about her decision to leave the show on August 8 and they told her that they need some time and they will send her an email on which she can reply with her resignation letter but that never happened.

She said that they delayed accepting her resignation and she saw articles in media that she breached the contract. She said that she had signed their contract five years ago and they did not even give her the copy of it. She received that copy on September 19, 2024.

She further said that they agreed to let her start brand endorsements on social media and didn't say anything back then. But now, when she announced her exit, the makers took this plan of action. Palak has also taken legal advise and will do what is best for her career.

She revealed that she wanted to quit the show for her health reasons and professional growth. She said that this is exploitation and she did not expect this from them after working with them for five years. Palak added that just because she wants to quit the show, the team is making her exit difficult.
