Bollywood popular actress Guddi Maruti recalled when the late Divya Bharti died. She remembered working with the actress Divya Bharti as she described her as a nice girl. She also said that Divya is a little messed up. Guddi spoke about Divya’s free-spirited personality and mentioned the incident where she found the actress sitting casually on the parapet of her fifth-floor apartment. Guddi revealed how Divya Bharti had no fear of heights. She spoke about meeting Divya’s grieving mother after her tragic death.

She shared how deeply the loss affected Divya’s then-husband, Sajid Nadiadwala who was shocked after she passed away. Divya died in 1993 after falling from her apartment when she was 19 years old. Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Guddi shared 'She was a nice girl but she was a little messed up. I don’t know her childhood but she stayed a little disturbed. She used to live life like today is the last day, bindas, she was a nice girl. At that time she was seeing Sajid Nadiadwala. This was the time we were shooting for Shola Aur Shabnam. She died on the night of April 5 and April 4 is my birthday. So, we all were partying together – Govinda, Divya, Sajid and others. She was okay at the party but I felt she was a little sad. She had to go for an outdoor shoot but she didn’t want to'. This is a big story in entertainment news.

Guddi recalled hearing the tragic news of Divya’s death on April 6 when she was on the flight. She said that she found Divya’s behaviour odd as she added saying, 'She used to stay on the fifth floor of a building in Juhu. One night I was going inside the ice-cream store near that building and heard a voice shouting my name. I looked up and it was Divya. She was sitting on the parapet of fifth floor with her legs dangling. I told her it’s not safe and that she should get inside. She told me, ‘Kuch nahi hota (Nothing will happen).’ She wasn’t scared of heights. I got scared just looking at her'.

Guddi continued saying, 'Everybody was giving condolences to Divya mom when a stray cat walked in with blood on its mouth. Everybody was shocked. It was very sad. Uske mummy ka haal bura tha (Her mother was devastated). Sajid was like… gone. He was in a bad shape. He wasn’t even home when the incident happened. Divya bent down from her window to see if Sajid’s car has come and that’s when she had fell down,” she said. She added that designer Neeta Lulla was there when the incident happened, putting paid to speculation around the actor’s death. “Neeta Lulla was there. They were talking when Divya turned looking for the car and Neeta saw her falling down'.

Actress Divya Bharti was one of the most successful stars in the early 1990s and gained a lot of fame. She lost her life at the age of 19 when she she fell from the balcony of her fifth-floor apartment. Her death news everyone was shocked.
