Shraddha Kapoor in Aashiqui 3? Actress reacts, 'If it is something...'

Shraddha Kapoor, who became a big star due to Aashiqui 2, has opened up about whether she will be a part of Aashiqui 3 or not.

The 2013 movie Aashiqui 2 changed Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Kapur Roy's lives forever. Directed by Mohit Suri, the romantic musical drama was loved for its story, performances, and music. Shraddha and Aditya's onscreen chemistry was also immensely loved. The movie made the duo stars and gave a big push to their careers. Soon, we will get the third installment starring Kartik Aaryan. However, will Shraddha be interested in joining the next installment? The actress has opened up.

Recently, during the NDTV Summit 2024, Stree 2 actress was asked if Aashiqui 3 was on the cards. Shraddha Kapoor answered not that she knows of. However, she believes if the makers thought of a sequel, they would come up with something very interesting. The actress mentioned how Aashiqui gave her so much love and appreciation. "The story—that's the film where everything changed for me."

Further in this entertainment news, Shraddha Kapoor stated that if the makers come up with something for the next installment, it would be really awesome. "And you know, if I feel like it is something challenging for me as an actor, something different for me to do, I would be open to it," Kapoor stated.

Meanwhile, there were reports that Triptii Dimri might star alongside Kartik Aaryan in Aashiqui 3. However, the makers have not officially finalised the female lead for the movie. Triptii and Kartik will be seen together in Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. On the other hand, the year 2024 has been brilliant for Shraddha Kapoor. Her movie Stree 2 has crossed Rs 600 crore gross collection at the box office. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film also stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. The actress is also a part of Stree 3, which the makers have already confirmed.
