As reported by TOI, the actor said that he is protective of his wife and she is beautiful. AB stated that when Ash came to the industry, she was Miss World and she still is the most beautiful woman on earth. However, that's something stuck with her and he believes that, as an audience, one thinks her charm comes from her beauty. The actor doesn't want that to take away her performance capabilities.

During this interview, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was sitting next to Abhishek Bachchan. The actress was pleased with her husband's answer and smiled and leaned her head on his shoulder.

Meanwhile, their divorce rumours started since July this year, when the couple arrived separately for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding.
