In the interview, when asked about his bucket list, Song said, “This might sound superficial, but I want people to drink champagne at my funeral. A festive funeral is on my bucket list.”
When asked, “Who do you think will come to mind most when facing death?” he answered, “It would be my parents, of course. But I can’t go before they do.”
This interview, being revisited following the news of his death, has evoked a profound sense of sadness.
Meanwhile, Song Jae Rim was found deceased that afternoon at the age of 39. His funeral service is being held at Room 2 of the Yeouido St. Mary’s Funeral Hall, with the burial scheduled for noon on the 14th.
