Laura Anderson terrified as she rushes daughter, one, to hospital after home incident

by · Irish Mirror

TV star Laura Anderson's one-year-old daughter was last night rushed to hospital after a terrifying incident at the star's home.

The presenter who found fame on Love Island welcomed her daughter, Bonnie, in September 2023, with actor Gary Lucy. Things deteriorated between them since the tot's birth, and it's been claimed that former Hollyoaks star Gary rarely spends time with infant.

The youngster suffered a febrile convulsion, a type of seizure that occurs in children when they have a high fever. The former medic knew what the issue was instantly and knew she needed help.

Laura today shared a photo of Bonnie in her pushchair and wrote: "Feeling very grateful after a dash to A&E last night. Luckily enough I knew what a febrile convulsion was from being crew but my goodness, it's a different story when it's your child and you have to drive to the hospital yourself."

She reassured her followers that her daughter was OK

She went on: "Also hats off to all the parents dealing with severely sick children and to the strength these children have. I do not know how you cope." Reassuring her followers that her daughter was OK, she added: "You can let me know if you want me to explain what happened as it's not really what I thought."

Laura previously claimed that Gary hadn't seen his daughter for six months. In June this year, she said that Gary hadn't seen their daughter since the New Year, adding: "I have no control over the actions of others." But in a candid chat with the Mirror, she said: "It can be seen, years ago, maybe not so much now but a single mum would feel embarrassed. I even felt that when I'd just had Bonnie, I felt I'd failed in a sense that I wasn't providing her with a two-parent household, she didn't ask to come into this world."

Things are looking up for Laura after going public with new partner Clark Robertson recently. Laura and Clark - who plays for Dundee F.C. - have been dating since the summer and things are move fast.

Last month, Gary was on the receiving end of his ex-girlfriend’s fury when he posted a slideshow of snaps of him playing with their daughter Bonnie, and the reality star accused the actor of being an absent father in a shocking comment. “Instead of posting videos of the one time you saw your daughter this year, can you please reply to my text from 2 weeks ago please, that would be great,” Laura fumed.

Her comment drew hundreds of likes from Gary’s followers, but in a recent post on Instagram, the actor has seemingly hit back at his ex with a pointed dig. Sharing a snap of him grinning alongside his son Theodore, Gary wrote, “I could eat him all up,” but it was the hashtags that caught the attention of his fans. “#handsomeboy, #deadbeatdad,” he added, along with an emoji of the middle finger.
