RTE Late Late Show lineup sees music icon, acting legend and comedy favourite join host Patrick Kielty
by Darragh Murphy · Irish MirrorRTE has unveiled the lineup for Friday night's Late Late Show and there will be a wide variety of Irish favourites taking to the couch.
This weekend, Patrick Kielty will be joined by music legend Christy Moore, who will talk all about his new album, A Terrible Beauty. The 79-year-old will perform some songs from the album, as well as one of his most iconic tunes, while discussing his relationship with his die-hard audience of fans.
Another Irish icon will also be in RTE studios as Golden Globe nominee Colm Meaney will chat about his Ireland set comedy The Problem with People, on which he worked with Paul Reiser, who will also be on the couch. The pair will detail the 30 years of preparing the project and how Colm introduced Paul to GAA in Croker.

Adding to the lineup, Line of Duty star Vicky McClure will be on Friday night's show to explain her fondness for 'dayclubbing' and her involvement in bringing it to the capital this weekend. The English actress will talk about her history coming over to Ireland and her relationship with co-star Adrian Dunbar, who hails from Fermanagh.
Bringing the funnies will be Patrick's fellow stand-up comedian Des Bishop, who has a special relationship with Ireland. Des, who moved back to the United Stated during the Covid pandemic, will talk about how he met his wife during that turbulent time and returning to these shores to perform his new show, titled Lately.
The Late Late Show airs at 9.35pm every Friday night on RTE One and the RTE Player.
