Lindsay Lohan is continuing her romcom run with a new Netflix film fans have already dubbed 'messy.'

Set to air this November, Our Little Secret is the third Netflix movie from the Mean Girls star since her comeback in 2022 flick Falling for Christmas. Earlier this year, the child star once again joined forces with the streaming service for Irish Wish, a fantasy rom-com where she starred alongside Ed Speleers.

Now, she is back for a tale about bickering exes, alongside Ian Harding, Tim Meadows and Kristin Chenoweth, with director Stephen Herek at the helm.

What is the plot of Our Little Secret?

Our Little Secret follows Avery (Lohan) who visits her boyfriend's family for Christmas only to find that her ex Logan (Harding), is dating her boyfriend's sister, forcing the bickering exes to spend a week together under one roof.

When asked to describe the plot, Lohan told Tudum: “The movie is about a girl who's dating someone, and she goes to meet his family for the holidays.”

She added: “Then she bumps into her ex, who is dating her boyfriend’s sister. And all kinds of stuff breaks loose.”

Harding also teased details of the plot. He said: “Logan remembers and adores a lot of what makes Avery, well, Avery."

Like “[her] deep love of snacks and coffee, and the inability to realize that she will most likely be cold in any temperature under 70 degrees."

Is that Ezra Fitz?

Yes it is. Pretty Little Liars fans might have spotted the actor from his leading role in the hit teen drama.

The mystery series, based on Sara Shepard's novels of the same name, follows a group of former friends who reunite a year after one of the group's members went missing. They subsequently start receiving threatening messages from someone who seems to know their darkest secrets, signed off with the moniker 'A.'

Ian played Ezra Fitz, a teacher and the love interest to main character Aria Montgomery (played by Lucy Hale). While the role was well-received when the show was airing, it has since come under fire with fans claiming the relationship between the teacher and student was inappropriate.

Who else is on the cast?

Lindsay Lohan leads the cast as Avery with Ian Harding as Logan. The cast also boasts Tim Meadows, Lohan's Mean Girls co-star, as Stan.

It also features Kristin Chenoweth as Erica, Jon Rudnitsky as Cameron, Henry Czerny as Mitchell, Judy Reyes as Margaret, Dan Bucatinsky as Leonard, Katie Baker as Cassie, Jake Brennan as Callum, Ash Santos as Sophie and Brian Unger as Paul.

When is it out?

Our Little Secret will be released on Netflix on November 27, with a 1hr 39mins runtime.
