Timothée Chalamet Attended A Timothée Chalamet Lookalike Contest

Yes, Anthony Po — a creator known for other viral NYC events like the Cheese Ball Man incident — hosted this Sunday's contest at Washington Square Park. Lookalikes gathered to walk the red carpet for the hot chance to win $50 and a massive prize.
Alas, police dispersed the crowd and fined the organizers for having an "unpermitted costume contest." One Timothée was also taken away in handcuffs, though it's not super clear why.
Thankfully, a winner was still chosen: 21-year-old Staten Island resident Miles Mitchell. He dressed up as Wonka-era Timmy and reportedly tossed candy to the crowd.
All of this would be bananas enough, if it weren't for the fact that the REAL TIMOTHÉE CHALAMET SHOWED UP. As per Variety, "Chalamet snuck his way through the packed mob, hiding behind a black mask and baseball hat, before sneaking up on two doppelgangers posing for photos. Once he got to the middle, he took off his mask for the big reveal as shrieks quickly erupted across the park."
