BBC Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts were left in awe by Carlos Gu's phenomenal performance during the professional dancer's segment on Sunday evening.

In the results show of Sunday, a hauntingly good number enthralled the audience, inspired by Beetlejuice and spearheaded by the talented Carlos.

Adopting the classic Beetlejuice look, Carlos was clad in a striking black and white striped suit, sporting green hair, and completed the ensemble with full Halloween makeup.

Audience members were quick to praise Carlos and his performance on social media platforms, with one fan posting on Twitter: "Carlos has won Hallowe'en #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."

"Love that routine brilliantly led by Carlos! ! #Strictly," another concurred, and a third commented: "Nothing to see here. Just Carlos showing us why he should've been partnered up this year.", reports the Mirror.

Another admired, saying: "Carlos did a star turn as Beetlejuice. Amazing! #Strictly."

While one succinctly put it: "Carlos slayed #strictly," another remarked: "Carlos has stole the show this weekend #strictly."

Carlos's stunning appearance also dominated Saturday nights show, as he humorously dressed up as the programme's co-host Claudia Winkleman for their Halloween-themed episode.

He donned a wig bearing an uncanny resemblance to Claudia's signature hairstyle, achieving an extraordinary likeness.

One viewer humorously enquired: "Who's that other 'Claudia'? #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly," on platform X.

Echoing the sentiment, another viewer expressed: "Carlos dressed as Claudia is amazing! #Strictly," while yet another added: "There are two Claudia's, I had to take two #strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."

Tonight's episode will feature a tense showdown as two celebrities face off to secure their place in the contest. Following a nail-biting dance-off, the judges will cast their votes to decide who remains and who exits.

The competitor with the fewest votes will be asked to leave the show.

In last weekend's competition, JB Gill and Paul Merson ended up in the hot seat, but the panel chose to rescue JB Gill and his professional partner Amy Dowden.

An unexpected turn of events saw Amy unable to attend the results programme due to a sudden illness backstage.

Emergency services were alerted by the BBC team, resulting in Amy being rushed to hospital for care. A spokesperson for Amy conveyed: "Amy was feeling unwell, so an ambulance was called as a precaution."

Adding further, they mentioned, "She is feeling much better and would like to thank the Strictly family for their love and concern. We request Amy's privacy in matters of health is kindly respected."
