The seven-episode show has been written and directed by Alfonso Cuaron (Gravity, Roma, Children Of Men), and stars Cate Blanchett as a famous documentary journalist who finds out she is a prominent character in a novel that reveals a secret from her life that she has spent her life trying to hide.

The star-studded cast also includes Kevin Kline, a teacher with a grudge against Blanchett’s character, Sacha Baron Cohen as her husband, as well as Lesley Manville and Kodi Smit-McPhee.

The first two episodes premiered on the streaming service on October 11, with three and four following a week later. Episode five arrives on Friday (October 25), with two further to come, the last arriving on November 8.

Based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Renee Knight, the show also boasts cinematography from longtime Cuaron collaborator Emmanuel Lubezki.
