Pop queens Sugababes have announced their biggest ever UK arena tour, which will include a Newcastle date in the spring, and say they can't wait to get back out there.

The original trio, Siobhan Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan, revealed this Tuesday that they will be back on the road in April and their 2025 tour - described as being biggest of the band's career and continuing their triumphant comeback - will take in Leeds, London, Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff before reaching Newcastle's Utilita Arena for their second to last date, on April 16, then wrapping up in Glasgow. Tickets for all shows will go on sale this Friday.

The stars, who last scheduled a city date in 2022 on what was then their first tour in 20 years, said: "We are so excited to announce our biggest ever UK tour. The last few years have been an absolute blast and we can’t wait to hit the road together next spring."

In a message to fans, they added: "Wait until you see what we’ve got up our sleeve! See you in April!” The original line-up of the Sugababes - who formed in 1998, released debut album One Touch in 2000 and clocked up six number one hit singles and millions of global sales over the years - each left the band then in 2019 they reunited with huge success, which has included two huge Glastonbury appearances, selling out The O2 in London and performing at festivals across Europe.
