Mahesh fans Demand an Apology from Teja

At a recent film event, Rana Daggubati and Teja Sajja playfully roasted some upcoming movies and Tollywood stars for entertainment.

Roasting other stars is a common practice in Bollywood and Hollywood as part of the show’s fun.

Rana and Teja made humorous remarks about films like Pushpa 2, calling it “Pushpa Too Late.” They also poked fun at Teja Sajja's own movie Hanu Man and actor Manchu Vishnu.

Additionally, they mentioned Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram while discussing the 2024 Sankranthi releases in a lighthearted manner.

Rana placed a hand on Teja’s shoulder and said, “He’s still the same—stays out of controversies, soft-spoken, a heartthrob for millions, the lover boy, the action star, the one and only…” Teja interrupted, asking Rana not to overdo the praise. Rana then clarified, “I’m talking about Mahesh Babu.”

Rana laughed but admitted the description could apply to Teja as well, noting that they were both once child actors. “He’s a superstar; you’re a superhero. Both of you hit the screens on Sankranthi,” Rana added. Teja, jokingly, asked him to avoid the "Sankranthi topic," to which Rana teased, “Why, is it a sensitive subject?”

However, Teja Sajja's remarks about a senior star like Mahesh Babu upset Mahesh Babu’s fans, who are now demanding an apology from him.

While Mahesh Babu’s fans are trending a hashtag calling out Teja Sajja, other fans have shown support for the Hanu Man actor.
