Tom Parker's widow Kelsey has revealed exclusively to MailOnline that the couple's children 'love' her new partner Will.

Kelsey and late The Wanted star, who died in March 2022 after a battle with brain cancer aged just 33, shared daughter Aurelia, five, and four-year-old son Bodhi.

Despite reviving backlash from cruel trolls after going public with her new relationship, she said she believed that The Wanted singer had a helping hand in her find love again.

Telling told MailOnline at the Pride of Britain Awards: 'I definitely think he’s very special and I do feel like Tom had a little sprinkle of magic in me meeting him'.

When asked why she said: 'I don’t know, it’s just everything about him. He’s so lovely, caring and kind. He sadly lost his dad when he was 21, so he understands the grief and what my kids are going through, so he can really be there. He is also a massive pillar of strength for me'.

After reports the couple met at a memorial match for Tom, Kelsey explained they actually met 'authentically' on a night out in Kent.

'I think it was a mutual feeling between us. I don’t know, it was just very [unexpected] Obviously I wasn’t expecting to find anyone, and he’s literally just swept me off my feet'.

Going on to say: 'Bodhi turned four yesterday, and I can’t actually believe it. I was 35 weeks pregnant with him when Tom was diagnosed [with a brain tumour] so I feel his whole life, for the past four years has been so crazy'.

'Thankfully, we’re in a good place and we celebrated yesterday, but I’ve not even thought about Christmas yet. I’ve been so busy with work and moving forward with life'.

It comes after Kelsey shared a heartbreaking message about grief as she thanked fans for their support amid her new romance.

After breaking the news about her new boyfriend, she was forced to hit back at hateful messages from trolls.

And taking to Instagram on last month, Kelsey thanked fans supporting her through her new romance, admitting she as 'hesitant' to share this part of her life.

'Grief is something I will always talk about it - it will always be part of mine and the kids' lives,' she said.

Kelsey spoke to MailOnline at the Pride of Britain Awards earlier this week

Kelsey's message said: 'I just wanted to say thank you for all the love and support on my post. I was really hesitant to share this part of my life, especially since so many of you know me from my life from Tom and the horrific grief I've been dealing with after losing him.

'Opening up about my journey over the past couple of years has been incredibly healing, allowing me to connect with others who've gone through similar experiences and build a beautiful, supportive community.

'Tom will always be a huge part of my life - there's no question about that. I will always love him and think about him every day.'

She added: 'But I'm now navigating this path as a single mum and at times it has been challenging.

'I'd be lying if I said it didn't feel good to have someone by my side now, someone who makes me smile, laugh and reminds me what it feels like to love again. Everyone deserves that feeling.

'Grief is something I will always talk about it - it will always be part of mine and the kids' lives. Thank you for your continued support always. Love Kels.'

Kelsey revealed she met Will while she was fundraising in honour of her late husband.

In lines from her new book, Kelsey Parker: With And Without You, obtained by The Sun, Kelsey reflected on her journey with grief and finding love again.

She explained: 'I’ve got to a stage in my grief journey where I’ve let that guilt go. Tom would want me to be happy.'

Kelsey went on to date electrician Sean Boggans in November 2022 following her husband's death the previous March, although they ended up splitting for good in December 2023 after an on-off relationship
