Taylor Swift's reaction to Travis Kelce's sex advice revealed

by · Mail Online

Travis Kelce may have raised eyebrows after offering advice on sex and claiming he has never had a ‘dry spell’ in the bedroom – but Taylor Swift had no problem with his comments.

The NFL star, 35, who has been dating the pop powerhouse, 34, since last summer, dished out some X-rated tips during a discussion with his brother Jason Kelce, 36, on their New Heights podcast.

Travis suggested a male listener in his 50s engage in ‘role play one night’ and go to novelty store Spencer’s to ‘get some f***ing sex stuff,’ to spice up his marriage.

The comments sparked fury among Taylor's loyal fans who branded the tight end 'disrespectful.'

But the Bad Blood singer was unfazed, with those close to her claiming Travis' comments were not intended to be 'creepy.'

Taylor Swift fans slam 'disgusting' Travis Kelce for his 'disrespectful' sex life comments

‘Taylor doesn't have a problem with it,' an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively. 'Nobody close to Taylor thinks badly of Travis. They are all 100 per cent supportive.

'His comments about his sex life were not said in a creepy way, he was being honest.'

They added: ‘Travis has a healthy relationship with Taylor. He’s smart enough to not put his foot in his mouth and say or do something stupid to derail that. What he said was appropriate.’

Travis and his retired Philadelphia Eagles sibling gave helpful pointers to the listener who confessed to 'going through a spell' with his wife, who has 'no interest in sex whatsoever.'

'I will personally mention that I have no idea what that’s [like],' Travis told the caller, before suggesting that he 'maybe just try to get some candles, get some rose petals, try and be a little romantic.'

He continued: 'Set the mood a little bit more. Maybe you just gotta rekindle that flame a little more.

'Get that thing going, take her to a nice restaurant. These are all things I would try and do.'

He continued: 'Women, they’re weird. They don’t just always want to have sex.

'I don’t know why, they don’t operate on the same wavelength as us… Women like to be sought after.'

A separate source insisted the sportsman's comments show how 'romantic' he can be and prove how dedicated he is to making Taylor happy.

'Travis’ comments go to show what a romantic guy he truly is and that he goes above and beyond to keep the romance alive and thriving with Taylor,' they said.

‘It also goes to show that he is an attentive boyfriend that is willing to do whatever it takes to keep Taylor happy and fulfilled.’

Travis also advised: 'That’s tough. Not cheating is definitely the way to go though.'

Jason tried a different approach, suggesting the man play more of a 'long game' in a bid to yield better results in the bedroom.

He also suggested that 'acts of service' could help to set the right mood, as well as 'a tighter pair of trousers.'

'Sometimes they just want to see the goods,' he joked, adding: 'I don’t know what you’ve been blessed with.'

Taylor's fans were unimpressed with Travis' comments, with the Kansas City Chiefs star branded 'disrespectful.'

'This is so disgusting and disrespectful. He needs to shut up fr,' said on person on X.

'This was the absolute last thing I needed to hear today,' said another.

'I'm getting the ick FOR her,' said a third, while a fourth joked: 'Everything I know about @tkelce is against my own will.'

It is not the first time Travis' behavior has sparked cause for concern among his girlfriend's dedicated Swifties.

Fans were left shocked when he erupted at Chiefs' coach Andy Reid, 65, during the Super Bowl in February, which they ultimately won.

The 'concerning' moment did not go unnoticed by those close to the Bad Blood singer.

'Honestly, Travis yelling at coach Reid like that was surprising and a little bit concerning to Taylor's friends simply because they were not aware that he even had a side to him like that,' an insider told DailyMail.com at the time.

'This was his first red flag as far as Taylor's friends are concerned and even Taylor seemed a bit surprised. Being the professional that she is, she has never flipped out on anyone like that.'

Another red flag presented itself the following day during the Chiefs' deadly celebration parade, which ended when a gunman opened fire killing one person and injuring 21 others - including nine children.

Prior to gunfire erupting, a drunken Travis could barely speak and stand up as he took to the stage in front of a million adoring Chiefs fans at the finale.

Travis and Taylor started dating last summer before going public at the Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears on September 24.

Travis has not shied away from talking publicly about their romance and recalled falling for the songstress on Bussin’ With the Boys podcast back in June.

'The first game she came to against the Bears, I was like, "I could probably set you up with everything,"' he said.

'And she just walked through the front door. There was no going down, talking to security … She was just like, "I want to be around the family and friends and experience this with everybody.’”

'She got beaucoup points for that,' he continued. 'I was like, "damn, she’s in the madness. She wants to be a part of it, she wants to support me."

'She really won me over with that. That’s why I really started to fall for her — how genuine she is around friends, family. It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention, and she just keeps it so chill.'

He recently gushed about his relationship to Niecy Nash-Betts - Kelce's co-star in Grotesquerie.

'You know it's real, and you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy,' he said.
