Hannah Murray is set to reveal she was sectioned in her new tell-all book after being 'lured' into 'deceptive' wellness cult.

The actress, 35, who starred as wildling Gilly in the HBO series is also known for her role as troubled teenager Cassie Ainsworth in Skins.

Recalling her time in the spotlight in her memoir, The Make-Believe, Hannah said: 'Tells a deeply personal story that has lived inside me for many years and which it now feels vital to share.'

The Bookseller reports that Hutchinson Heinemann is set to release the book in 2026.

The publisher told the website: 'This is the story of the blurred line between what is real, and what is an illusion; what we must accept and what we wish to be true; between solid earth beneath your feet and a world where anything is possible if you only commit.'

They added: 'It is about the lure of those that tell us they can save us, and the deceptive structure of organisations that promise us wellness.'

In 2019, Hannah discussed her choice to take a break from acting to focus on studying during an appearance on Lorraine.

The actress confessed she let a huge Game Of Thrones storyline slip while she was at a friend's birthday party as she maintained she couldn't give away any season eight spoilers.

She said: 'I can't say but I'm really bad at it, I always want to tell everyone! I once ruined a big spoiler at my friend's birthday party. I'm so relieved the show is coming out so I can talk about it.'

Hannah watched the first episode at the New York City premiere with 5000 people but she will watch the rest of the season with a small group of friends in Los Angeles.

As well as being really excited to share Game Of Thrones with the rest of the world, she admitted she was going to miss all of her co-stars now filming was over.

She said: 'It feels like the end of school or the end of university with such an important group of people, I'm going to miss going to work with them every day.

'I think it's going to take a while to really sink in how a phenomenon the show really is, that it's the biggest show in the world and I'm in it.'

Hannah revealed she took a break away from acting to complete an English Literature degree at Queens College during her time at Cambridge University.

She elaborated: 'I just wanted to do it. I really loved literature and I wanted to take a bit of time out from the industry. I've got friends who are doctors and lawyers. I think an English degree really helps with acting.'

Before Game Of Thrones, Hannah rose to fame on the set of Skins where she morphed into the anorexic hipster character Cassie during 2007 and 2008 seasons.

The university graduate revealed filming for the show has been some of the 'happiest time' in her life because it was when she first fell in love with acting.
