Dannii Minogue debuts shock new look

Dannii Minogue debuted a shock new look to social media in time for Halloween. 

In the short clip, the 53-year-old opted to ditch her stylish persona, and showcase her edgier side, by using an app to all but erase her famous visage.

The We Could Be the One hitmaker had fans doing a double take as she showed off her ghoulish alter ego with blue skin and red hair.

Dannii's famous lips appeared fuller in the transformation and were highlighted with blood red lipstick, as stitches crisscrossed her face

The 1984 smash hit Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr played in the background, as Dannii worked her angles for her adoring fans, while cartoon skulls danced around the screen.

Dannii and her sister Kylie Minogue are two of Australia's most iconic pop stars, and share similar career trajectories.

Both got their start on a long-running Australian soap opera - Kylie on Neighbours and Dannii on Home and Away - and went on to launch a music career, selling millions of albums in the process.

The sisters have always enjoyed a close relationship, with Dannii revealing she's always looked to Kylie for guidance during a 2017 interview with 9Honey.

'My sister's always been incredible,' Dannii told the publication at the time.

'She's always a tower of strength, and very classy with how she handles everything.

'My sister is my go-to for advice. And always when I look at her, she's physically a tiny little thing, and you just think, 'Where does all this strength come from?''

Dannii welcomed son Ethan, now 13, with former rugby league player Kris Smith back in 2010.

Earlier this year, Dannii gave a rare insight into their low-key romance and opened up on the prospect of marriage.

Of keeping their relationship out of the limelight, she told Hello: 'I haven't always been able to do it that way before because if the other person is already famous, then what can you do? He works behind the scenes, so it's easy.'
