Ukraine's Yarmolenko blasts 's***head' Russian players and mocks Dzyuba

by · Metro

Andriy Yarmolenko has labelled Russia’s football stars ‘s***heads’ for not speaking out against the invasion of Ukraine and mocked their national team’s captain over a leaked sex tape.

Yarmolenko claimed that he has spoken to many Russian players who have told him they are against Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, however, they are not using their platforms to make their views public.

The West Ham forward is trying to rile them into action and went on the offensive on social media, slating them for their silence.

Artem Dzyuba was dropped from the national team in 2020 after a video of him masturbating leaked and went viral, and Yarmolenko directed a barb at him, calling on the striker to ‘show your balls in real life’.

‘I am Andriy Yarmolenko, a Ukraine national team player,’ he said in an Instagram video. ‘I was born in St Petersburg but grew up in Ukraine and regard myself as 100% per cent Ukrainian.

‘I have a question for the Russian national team players… Guys, why are you sitting like s***heads and not saying anything?

‘In my country they’re killing people, killing wives, killing mothers, killing our children. But you say nothing. You’ve given no comments.

‘Tell me please, what will happen if all of you together, united, show the people what is really happening in my country.

‘I know a lot of you, I’m familiar with many of you and you all told me it shouldn’t be like this. That your president is acting incorrectly.

‘So guys, you have influence over the people. Show this! I am asking you, please!

‘I know some of you like to show your balls on camera but now the time’s come to show your balls in real life. Thank you for your attention. Glory to Ukraine!’

Dzyuba was also the target of abuse from Everton’s Ukrainian star Vitaliy Mykolenko, who labelled the Russian a ‘silent b***h’ for not speaking out.

‘Whilst you remain a silent b**** along with your s***head football teammates, peaceful civilians are being killed in Ukraine,’ Mykolenko wrote on Instagram on Tuesday.

‘You will be locked in a prison for the rest of your life and most importantly the lives of your kids. And I’m glad.’
