The Ayodhya Police have registered a case against Ajit Prasad, son of Samajwadi Party MP from Faizabad Lok Sabha constituency Awadhesh Prasad, and six others on charges of assaulting, kidnapping and threatening a man.

An FIR was registered on Sunday against Samajwadi Party's Faizabad MP Awadhesh Prasad's son Ajit Prasad for allegedly kidnapping, threatening, and assaulting a man, police said.

A case has been registered against Ajit Prasad, three other named individuals, and 15 unidentified people. The complaint was filed by a person named Ravi Tiwari.
