According to reports, the RPF Samastipur has registered an FIR against unknown people in connection to the stone pelting incident which has left a few passengers injured.

Stones were thrown at the Swatantrata Senani Express in Bihar's Samastipur district on Thursday night, as it was travelling from Jainagar to New Delhi.

Just a week after an attempt to derail the Swatantrata Senani Express, the train was attacked again in Bihar's Samastipur on Thursday night, resulting in smashed window panes.

No person was injured in the incident but it caused damage to window panes of three coaches, including the pantry car, they said, adding one person has been detained in connection with the incident.
