A person died in a fire at a west Las Vegas apartment complex Monday afternoon.

Toronto Fire Services were called to the area of Marlee Avenue and Roselawn Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

A police cordon was placed around the property

Upon receiving a call about the fire, five fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the flames were extinguished. A fire department officer said no one was injured in the incident and train services have not been affected.

In the morning of 20th October, in the Prashant Vihar area of Rohini district a blast was reported outside the CRPF school. Following the blast, the Forensic Science Laboratory and bomb disposal squad were dispatched to investigate the cause. The blast caused no injuries but the school wall,nearby shop windows, and a parked car got damaged because of the blast. Senior police officers, including the Crime Branch and Special Cell, have reached the area. The police investigating the case said "Today at 07:47 hrs, a PCR call was received in which the caller informed that a blast with lots of noise took place near CRPF school Sector 14 Rohini. SHO/PV and staff reached the spot, where the school wall was found damaged with a foul smell. The glasses of a nearby shop and a car parked near the shop were found to be damaged. No one was injured,". 

Fire breaks out at hospital’s store room in Nirmal, none injured

A fire broke out in the General Hospital in Nirmal District on Sunday, October 20, after an AC unit in the hospital had a short circuit.
