This included using charity funds to pay for Campbell’s stay at a five-star hotel in Cannes as well as spa treatments, room service and cigarettes.

The model cannot be involved at charities for five years after an inquiry discovered mismanagement.

The 54-year-old, was one of three trustees of charity Fashion for Relief who have been disqualified following a regulator's probe. The disqualification will be effective for five years.

British supermodel Naomi Campbell has been disqualified from being a charity trustee for five years after the UK's Charity Commission found serious mismanagement of funds at Fashion for Relief, which she founded.

The decision follows revelations the organisation spent more than £1.6million on a gala in Cannes, but gave just £5,000 to good causes over a 15-month period.
