A Ryanair flight carrying 184 passengers has been forced to abandon its take off after flames were seen shooting from the left engine.

At least 184 passengers were evacuated and that firefighters were called out to attend to the incident. The Brindisi airport in the southwestern region of Puglia in the south of the country was forced to close due to the emergency.
