A massive blaze at a residential block in Plaistow, east London, has led to ten fire engines and 70 firefighters rushing to the scene with thick smoke rising into the sky

Flames were seen coming out of an apartment at the residential block on Queens Road West in Plaistow, East London, shortly after 8am this morning - sending billows of smoke into the air.

Ten fire engines have been sent to the incident on Queens Road West in Plaistow, east London, the London Fire Brigade said.

The road was very wet and muddy

Upon receiving a call about the fire, five fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the flames were extinguished. A fire department officer said no one was injured in the incident and train services have not been affected.
