Two teens have been arrested and charged with gang assault for the attack on former New York Gov. David Paterson and his 20-year-old stepson, authorities say.

Police have arrested a 57-year-old man in connection with an alleged violent assault in East York last month.

Mr. Paterson and his stepson suffered minor injuries in a street attack on Friday. The former governor was not believed to have been targeted in the assault, the police said.
