The IMD also said that it will intensify into a cyclonic storm on Wednesday and then intensify further to make landfall in Odisha-Bengal coast between Puri and Sagar Island on October 24-25. A red alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall has been issued for the coastal districts of Odisha, including Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, and Bhadrak.
