Week 7 vs. Falcons

Mike Vorel (5-1)

Falcons 31, Seahawks 28: Maybe a mini-bye fixed the Seahawks’ flaws. Maybe the run defense will deliver in Atlanta, while Seattle’s erratic offensive line will allow quarterback Geno Smith and running back Kenneth Walker III to operate efficiently. Maybe the Seahawks will finally find themselves on the right side of the turnover differential, too. Maybe … but I’ll have to see it to believe it.

Bob Condotta (4-3)

Falcons 27, Seahawks 23: The Seahawks said all the right things this week in the wake of a three-game losing streak, and there’s no reason to think they won’t give a good effort. But the issues in the back end could be too much to overcome against Cousins and a solid receiving corps.

Matt Calkins (4-2)

Falcons 28, Seahawks 21: The Seahawks simply haven’t been able to stop any capable team on defense this year, and the Falcons are capable. Until Seattle shows they get beat a quality opponent, I’m not picking them to win a road game vs. a team above .500.

Scott Hanson (3-2)

Falcons 35, Seahawks 27: The Seahawks and Falcons come into the game going in opposite directions, with Atlanta winning its past three games and Seattle losing its past three. The Falcons are on a roll offensively, and the Seahawks’ defense has struggled mightily in their three losses.
