Man killed in vehicle outside Federal Way apartment

A man died inside a vehicle at a Federal Way apartment complex early Thursday and police are investigating his death as a homicide.

Police had few details about what led up to his injuries or what those injuries were. The man, in his 20s or 30s, was found when a 911 caller reported a shooting outside the Avana Star Lake Apartments by South 272nd Street South Star Lake Road, according to the Federal Way Mirror.

The man had reportedly crashed into other vehicles. Medics tried to save his life, but he died at the scene.
