A 23-year-old man wanted in connection to the deaths of two teenage boys near Poulsbo on Wednesday was arrested in King County, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.

A warrant for first-degree felony murder was issued after two boys were found dead “by homicidal means” around 3 p.m. at a home in the 16000 block of Northwest Scandia Road, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office said at about 8:45 p.m. that the suspect, who was armed and traveling in a truck, was found in King County and arrested.

Authorities were working to transfer him Wednesday to Kitsap County to be booked. The Seattle Times does not name people suspected of crimes until they’ve been formally charged by prosecutors.

The Sheriff’s Office said the suspect is related to the victims, but the nature of the relationship was not known Wednesday. No other details, including what led to the shooting, were immediately available.
