Derby County issue Stoke City update and offer crucial advice
by Leigh Curtis · Derbyshire LiveDerby County will be backed by more than 3,000 fans during their lunchtime clash at Stoke City on Saturday as they announced another sold-out away day.
Fresh from selling their entire allocation at Millwall and Oxford, Derby will be backed by another huge following at the bet365 stadium for Saturday's 12.30pm kick-off.
Stoke is one of the shortest trips Derby will make this season and Paul Warne and Co will be hoping the power of their support will help influence the performance as the Rams bid for a first Championship away win of the season.
Warne's side are currently on a four-game unbeaten run but have recorded three successive 1-1 draws - and hit back to snatch a point against Hull City at Pride Park last Saturday when Dajaune Brown scored his first senior goal.
Stoke, meawhile, were in action last night when they were beaten 3-2 at Southampton in the Carabao Cup. They are without a win in four league games and under new leadership in the guise of Narcis Pelach, who replaced Steven Schumacher last month.
Fans without a ticket have been urged not to travel down the A50. The club said: "The Rams will head to the bet365 Stadium on Saturday, November 2 2024 (12:30pm kick-off). Derby were handed an allocation of 3,391 tickets for the match and these have now completely sold out. Those fans without a ticket are advised not to make the trip to Stoke as they will be unable to gain access to the stadium."
Derby's last trip to Stoke came in December 2021 and it proved a profitable visit as goals from Luke Plange and Colin Kazim-Richards sealed a 2-1 victory.
