Queen Mary makes style statement ahead of big change
by Jessica Storoschuk · Royal CentralKing Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark were a dashing duo at the Crown Prince Couple Awards in Copenhagen.
The Danish King and Queen attended their awards held in VEGA. While His Majesty wore a casual suit, Queen Mary made a bold style statement.
Mary chose a striking black tuxedo jumpsuit from favourite brand Max Mara. The jumpsuit features full-length sleeves, satin-lined lapels, and split-flares in the legs. She also wore a pair of bright yellow Manolo Blahnik “Hangisi” pumps, a coordinating yellow embellished clutch from Prada, and a substantial yellow-stoned ring.
The couple did not only attend the awards to present, though. They also brought news of big changes following their change in position in January.
Tonight we say goodbye to the Crown Prince Couple’s Awards and welcome something new. Because it doesn’t stop here for us. We have new titles, but we carry our values with us. Therefore, in the future, we will also support social initiatives, art and culture, and communities that bind us together…
The new awards, including a new prize for communities, will be known as the Royal Couple Awards. The prizes will still be shown on network DR1 and will first be given out in 2025.
