Hunt for Birmingham killer in murder probe after man found critically injured

Police are hunting the killer of a man who was found critically injured in Birmingham. Despite efforts to save his life, nothing could be done for the victim and he died at the scene.

West Midlands Police said they were called to Medway Grove, in Kings Norton, just after 10am today, Tuesday, November 5. Police said they are working to establish exactly what happened and who was involved.

No arrests have been made. Officers are reviewing CCTV and carrying out house-to-house inquiries.

In a statement, police said: "We've started a murder investigation after a man was found with serious injuries in Kings Norton. We were called to Medway Grove, at 10.05am today (5 Nov).

"A man was discovered seriously injured and sadly nothing could be done to save him. We're currently working to establish exactly what happened and who was involved.

"We're reviewing CCTV and carrying out house-to-house enquiries as we investigate. A scene is currently in place. Anyone with information, or potentially has CCTV or doorbell footage which may assist us, is asked to contact us.
