Strictly Come Dancing's Sarah Hadland shares racy confession about meeting 'gorgeous' crush

by · Birmingham Live

Strictly Come Dancing star Sarah Hadland confessed she was left speechless when she met her celebrity crush at the Royal Variety Show.

The Miranda actress revealed her "all-time" crush during an episode of Crushed by Margaret Cabourn-Smith. She admitted that she was unprepared for the encounter as she was dressed in a "girly dress and Converse" with a "little fringe" and looked like a "children's TV presenter".

Sarah recalled: "My all-time crush is Brandon Flowers from The Killers. Ahh, I just think he's so sexy. I've seen his show about a million times. I just think he's gorgeous.

"But I did the Royal Variety Show and the headline band...they hadn't put down what it was and I didn't register it and I was doing Miranda."

The Miranda star explained that upon hearing someone mention The Killers, she rushed to the side of the stage where she found Brandon standing alone.

However, when she tried to speak to her celebrity crush, she was so starstruck that she "couldn't even get out the words". Luckily, Brandon understood and offered to take a photo with her.

She went on to say: "And I stood with him and I look like I've gone on a day trip to meet him and as part of a charity. That's what I look like and he just looks gorgeous.

"And he, in fact, he even said, 'Do you want to take another one because the lighting is behind' and Nicola was fumbling and I was a bit like, 'No; forget it'."

When asked if the photo was "enough" or if she had wanted to make a move on him, Sarah said that Brandon could have performed a sex act on her during the show and there would not have been a "peep".

Sarah, who is currently partnered with Vito Coppola on the BBC dance competition, has returned to training this week. In their last performance, they wore matching pink and yellow outfits for a Samba routine to Do It Again by Rafaella Carra.

The judges have praised her performances, with head judge Shirley Ballas describing her as "an absolute charm to watch" and Motsi Mabuse calling her a "force".

Their performance earned them 32 points out of 40, although some fans believed they deserved more, according to MEN.

The next episode of Strictly Come Dancing will air on BBC One on Saturday, October 26, from 6.25pm.
