Pete Wicks is currently wowing Strictly Come Dancing viewers, but he's also made a name for himself off the dance floor - thanks to his string of famous ex-girlfriends

The Only Way Is Essex star, Pete Wicks, has been partnered with stunning professional dancer Jowita Przystal, with the twosome wowing the Strictly Come Dancing judges each week with their chemistry on the dance floor already.

Their close-knit relationship on the show has of course set tongues wagging, probably due to Pete's previous extensive dating history and after he was spotted kissing a Love Island star only last month.

With hope building about the possibility of a new budding romance for Pete, there is obviously the lingering doubt with regards to the Strictly curse. In light of the fresh romance rumours with a reality star, we explore Pete's past romances.

Jess Wright

Back in 2015, shortly after joining TOWIE, Pete Wicks and Jess Wright had a brief romantic fling. However, their relationship hit the rocks when Jess was caught kissing fellow cast member Lewis Bloor while under the influence.

Reflecting on the incident, Pete said: 'I think after the whole Lewis Bloor thing, it kind of made me realise I don't want to fall out with her because I've always said I love her as a person. We nearly fell out over that. But we're not really compatible relationship-wise. We'll always have a bit of chemistry but we're better off as friends."

Megan McKenna

Pete started dating Megan McKenna in 2016, and their tumultuous relationship was played out for all to see on TOWIE, amid rumours of infidelity. They split up the following year, only to reunite on Celebs Go Dating where they decided to stay friends.

Speaking about their breakup, Pete confessed: "About three or four months into us being together I made a few mistakes. I was messaging other women. When I start to get feelings for someone I feel vulnerable."

Jacqui Ryland

Next up is ex-glamour model Jacqui Ryland. In 2017, she exposed sexts from Pete and commented: "It was the whole thing about girl code. It wasn't about being fame-hungry.. .it was to tell Megan, 'Don't be fooled by all this'. I think from her point of view it was 100 percent genuine, but from his, not so much."

Megan Barton Hanson

Back in 2018, Pete Wicks addressed gossip that he had "disappeared" with Megan Barton-Hanson following reports of a night out at Stringfellows strip club. "Megan and Pete hit it off from the moment they first started talking they both seemed keen to get to know each other better," a source claimed to The Sun.

According to the insider, they both vanished for some time from friends Ferne McCann, Mario Falcone, and Jon Clark, before Pete exited around 4:30am due to a radio commitment.

Confronted by Wes Nelson at The Pride Of Britain Awards, Pete countered the rumours in an interview with OK! asserting: "Do you know what, it's so ridiculous. At the minute I seem to be getting links with a new person every week. Obviously Megan's in a relationship, seems really happy, it's like a friendly thing. It's turning into a bit of a pantomime. It's just ridiculous."

Chloe Sims

Pete became involved with fellow TOWIE cast member Chloe Sims in 2018; however, their relationship remained under wraps until Chloe admitted in 2020 they had been "sleeping together for two years".

During a dramatic episode of the ITV reality show, Pete told Chloe: "I can't be in a relationship, I can't give you what you want and I can't give you what you deserve and I know that."

In an October interview with The Sun, Pete opened up about his complicated relationship with a former flame, admitting that while they were both involved with other people, there were "blurred lines" between them. He confessed: "We haven't been officially seeing each other but there's definitely been times it's been more than just a friendship."

Chloe later shared on Instagram during a Q&A session: "Although it ended in years on the show, we had so many good times. Unfortunately you guys just didn't see them. We always sort it out in the end and we love each other."

Ella Rae Wise

After his intermittent romance with Chloe, Pete enjoyed what was described as a 'flirty/friendship' with fellow Towie star Ella Rae Wise post-lockdown in 2020. Despite sharing a kiss, their relationship did not progress.

Ella commented at the time: "When I said to the girls, 'We're quite flirty,' I think they took it as a little thing; they didn't realise how flirty we were. Even the show producers said, 'We can sit there and watch you look at each other.' He's got really good chat."

The latest celebrity to be linked with Pete is former Love Island star Maura Higgins.

The duo were spotted sharing a smooch just a month ago and rumour has is they are still very much an item. It is unknown if there is anything more to it or if the two will become an item.
