Meghan Markle's best friend makes rare comment

Meghan Markle's best friend Kelly McKee Zajfen has spoken about her friendship with the Duchess of Sussex as she joined her at a red carpet event in LA

Meghan Markle's best mate took to social media to share a rare insight about the Duchess of Sussex. Kelly McKee Zajfen, who has been one of Meghan's closest pals for many years, joined her on the red carpet at the prestigious Children's Hospital Los Angeles Gala over the weekend.

Zajfen, who is a co-founder of the Alliance of Moms charity - an organisation that supports young parents in LA - later opened up about her bond with Meghan.

Sharing a photo of the two holding hands during the gala, she penned: "I was beyond grateful to share in this beautiful evening with one of my closest friends.Back in April, Zajfen posted on Instagram: "When we speak about the people in our lives who lift us up when you need it with undeniable force of pure love I think of these two. You inspire me. You pick me up when I need it and you Love Like A Mother!"

Meghan participated in the Alliance of Mom's CommUNITY of Motherhood campaign in 2023 and stood by her friend Zajfen during the loss of her son George.Zajfen also got a taste of Meghan's yet-to-be-released American Rivera Orchard jam.She lauded Meghan's jam on Instagram, sharing a picture of the jam in a gift basket surrounded by lemons and flowers.She exclaimed: "Ohhhhh Just a taste of what's to come!!!

So proud of you M. "Meg, your dedication to supporting Children's Hospital Los Angeles and community is truly inspiring.

"I'm so grateful to have you by my side." She also expressed her gratitude to the Children's Hospital Los Angeles for their care towards her daughter Lily, who suffers from heart problems.

"Our journey began when she was just two and a half, and from that day forward, we've experienced nothing but kindness, hope, care, and unmatched expertise," Kelly penned in her emotional caption."

Our team at Children's has given us strength during the most challenging moments, and their continued commitment to Lily's care has made all the difference to our family.
