Liam Payne death investigation takes fresh twist and sinister turn

Liam Payne's death investigation has undergone a fresh twist and dark turn. Buenos Aires City Police are raiding ITV The X Factor star and Wolverhampton singer Payne’s hotel for intel on employees who worked the day of his death.

Police are seeking to identify Casa Sur workers who had been working on the day of star's death as well as in the days the tragedy. As part of the police raid, a source told US Weekly, they were seeking documents within the hotel’s registration books as well as taking information from its computers.

Payne passed away aged 31 on October 16 after falling from a third floor balcony at Casa Sur, with his death sending shockwaves around the globe. Sources a now saying the hotel "must provide" more security footage to investigators.

This is as well as provide information about staff members. Payne died of multiple traumas and “internal and external haemorrhage” after falling from a third-floor balcony of the Casa Sur hotel in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires.

Police officers and the emergency services found the music star dead at the scene last week and his body was transferred to the judicial morgue. The singer’s family said they were “heartbroken” after his death, adding: “Liam will forever live in our hearts and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul.”

Payne found fame alongside his One Direction band members when The X Factor creator Cowell put them together to form the boyband on the ITV talent show in 2010. Payne first auditioned for The X Factor in 2008 when he was 14, singing Frank Sinatra’s Fly Me To The Moon, with judge Cowell telling him to return to the talent show two years later.

Payne previously said he struggled with alcoholism at the peak of his success with One Direction, describing hitting “rock bottom” to The Diary Of A CEO podcast host, Steven Bartlett.
