Oasis add new dates to 2025 world tour as band tells fans 'you have one last chance'

The band has announced a string of new dates for their Oasis Live '25 reunion world tour

Fans of Oasis could be in luck after the band announced brand new dates for their hotly anticipated 2025 world tour. Liam and Noel Gallagher teased that a huge announcement was on the way this weekend.

And today (Monday, September 30) the brothers shared that the tour will be heading to North America, Mexico and Canada. Five dates have been added to the list of shows which are set to begin next year.

The band has also confirmed today that plans are underway for the Oasis Live ’25 tour to go to other continents outside of Europe and North America. The band last performed in the States 16 years ago.

They said in a quote attributed to Oasis: "America. Oasis is coming. You have one last chance to prove that you loved us all along.”

A statement added: "Following the announcement that was felt around the world, the global cultural phenomenon continues with Oasis’ return. Today the band announce the North American dates of their OASIS LIVE ’25 world tour.

"The North American leg, produced by Live Nation and SJM, will see Oasis play stadiums in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Los Angeles and Mexico City next summer with Cage The Elephant as the special guest across all dates."

The new dates announced are stadium gigs in Toronto, Canada on August 24, Chicago on August 28, New Jersey on August 31, LA on September 6 and Mexico City on September 12.

The previously announced dates on the Oasis Live ‘25 tour sold out immediately culminating in the biggest concert launch ever seen in the UK and Ireland, with over 10 million fans from 158 countries queuing to buy tickets, Manchester Evening News reports.

Days after their return, the band claimed their 8th UK No. 1 album with the 30th anniversary of their seminal debut album Definitely Maybe, while at the same time occupying two other spots in the top 5 UK albums chart.

The general ticket on sale will begin Friday, October 4th at 10am local time and will be available from Ticketmaster.

Registration for the presale is currently open at the Oasis website until Tuesday, October 1st at 8am EST (that's 1pm in Britain).

Birmingham: A Child Poverty Emergency

Child poverty is soaring in Birmingham and without urgent change, will only get worse. Having worked with charities and community groups, BirminghamLive is campaigning for the following changes to start to turn the tide:

  1. End the two-child benefit cap
  2. Provide free school meals to every child in poverty
  3. Create a city “aid bank” for baby and child essentials
  4. Protect children’s and youth services
  5. Create permanent, multi year Household Support Fund and give more Discretionary Housing grants
  6. Set up child health and wellbeing hubs in our most deprived neighbourhoods
  7. Appoint a Birmingham child poverty tsar
  8. Provide free public travel for young people
