Arrest in Hollywood hit-and-run crash death probe

West Mercia Police said officers received a report of a man lying in a layby on the A435 Hollywood Bypass at around 11.55pm yesterday, Sunday, November 3.
A 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The force said it was believed the victim, who was not named, was hit by a vehicle before it left the area. A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Insp Stephanie Arrowsmith, from Bromsgrove Roads Policing, said: “We have arrested a 53-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop. He remains in police custody. We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision as they may have information which could help with our investigation.
