Shoppers praise 'comfy and stylish' M&S embellished dress perfect for the festive season

Marks and Spencer's latest must-have dress is causing a stir online, with many shoppers snapping it up ahead of the festive season. The black Pure Cotton Embellished Mini Waisted Dress is perfect for wearing to Christmas parties and get-togethers thanks to its glitzy detailing.

The M&S dress costs £42 and comes in petite, regular and tall, catering to sizes six to 24. The retailer says it's a 'lightweight and breathable style' and is designed as a regular fit, giving the wearer a 'flattering waist shape'.

The glamorous embellished dress has an attractive slim V-neck and long sleeves. It's adorned with pretty sparkly sequins and metallic stitching that are sure to catch the light on any dancefloor.

Pair the dress with knee-high heeled boots, chunky jewellery and a sparkly clutch bag for the perfect evening outfit. It would also look fabulous worn with black tights, flat boots and a cosy jacket for a more casual vibe.

Shoppers who have already added the Embellished Mini Waisted Dress to their wardrobe have awarded it an impressive overall rating of 4.9 out of five on the M&S website. One buyer who rated it five stars commented: "Stunning dress. It's really flattering and perfect for lower-key Christmas nights out."

A second wrote: "A comfy, breathable, stylish dress good for day and night. I love the loose fit - eat what you like! The neckline and the shorter length ensure it doesn't swamp the wearer. Lovely with tights and boots. The cotton weight is just right for these autumn days with a mac or lightweight coat on top."

Someone else added: "Lovely dress which can be very versatile. Good quality material."

Unfortunately, the sizing wasn't perfect for a couple of customers, with one noting: "It's a bit large for me, but with a belt it's perfect." Another explained: "Wish the body was a little longer or it came in Tall, but overall I'm happy with it." Their wish has been granted, as the dress is now available in a Tall fit.
