Police appeal for footage after Ettingshall crash saw four injured

Four people were taken to hospital after a crash in Ettingshall. A white Volkswagen Golf, which had previously failed to stop for police, was involved in a collision near a railway bridge.

The smash, which also involved a van and a BMW, happened on Manor Road just after 11am on Saturday, October 12. The collision led to a fire, and officers had to help the occupants of the BMW out of their vehicle.

A woman and two young children were taken to hospital for further assessment, but have since been discharged. A 23-year-old, who was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop, was also taken to hospital for treatment.

West Midlands Police said he had since been discharged and bailed, pending further enquiries. The force was now appealing for anyone in the area at the time to get in touch.
